Mahahual, Q.R. — A young motorcycle driver was killed after colliding with a car that is alleged to have blocked his path. The accident happened on the Naciones Unidas bypass near the entrance to the Marte R. Gómez neighborhood where the young man was found lying on the pavement.
The motorcyclist is reported to have run out to a nearby gas station to fuel up. He was on his way home when the accident happened. State police manned the roadway while they waited for paramedics who pronounced the Mahahual teen dead at the scene.
The deceased as been identified as 18 year old Brayan Chiquito Muñiz. He died suffering severe abdominal and head trauma.
Police have not commented on fault or possible charges.
