Mahahual, Q.R. — With the return to a red epidemiological light, the mayor of Mahahual announced the reinstallation of the sanitary filter along the town’s main access.
Mahahual mayor Pedro Marcial Rodríguez Cobos says that the sanitary filter has been reinstalled at the entrance to Mahahual’s tourist area to keep the community free of infections. He says that two suspected cases have been reported, both of whom, are in isolation and being monitored.
For this reason, he says people who want to enter Mahahual will be checked for symptoms of Coronavirus, adding that keeping the community free of infections will also avoid the implementation of more stringent measures.
Rodriguez Cobos explained that people will be checked to verify they are complying with health protocols, temperatures will be taken and vehicles, sanitized in order to rule out personal symptoms and the possible spread of the virus.
