Mahahual, Q.R. — A Mahahual motorcycle driver remains in critical condition in hospital after an accident. Paramedics attended to the 45-year-old man after skidding when taking a curve.
The accident happened on Huachinango Street when, according to witnesses, he lost control and skidded more than 30 feet when attempting to take a corner.
Due to a lack of helmet, he suffered serious head and face injuries. Witnesses called emergency services for help after the accident. Excessive speed has been a reported factor into the single vehicle accident.
