Chetumal, Q.R. — Police in Chetumal responded to the call for help after the manager of a hostel found a guest in a pool of blood. The incident was reported Tuesday at a hostel in the city’s center when the manager found the man.
According to preliminary information, the 58-year-old man was of foreign nationality and a guest at the hostel. He was found inside his room laying in a pool of blood. Beside his body was a knife.
Municipal police and members of the FGE arrived to further investigate. The unidentified man was transferred to hospital alive by ambulance. His injuries are reported to be consistent with that of a suicide attempt.
