Puerto Aventuras, Q.R. — Human error due to lack of area knowledge is being the said cause of a boat running aground. On Sunday, authorities were alerted to the grounded vessel and crew of six after they became stuck among Puerto Aventuras rocks.
The grounded sailboat’s crew was assisted by elements of the Harbor Master’s Office who arrived at the Sunday scene. Boat ISO Time was found listing with its skeg almost fully exposed.
There were no injuries reported during the at-sea mishap.
