Chetumal, Q.R. — A new housing unit for the Ministry of National Defense (Sedena) is being built in Chetumal. The four-story buildings are located next to the Tren Maya workshops.
The housing complex is made up of more than 100 apartments distributed in seven four-story buildings. According to the Ministry of Defense, the complex will allow them to have Armed Forces personnel on site and fully available to carry out missions, saving them time and transportation costs.
The also say building locally reduces travel time and the high costs associated with renting external housing. The private complex will be complete with a school and playground, sports area and landscaping.
