Puerto Aventuras, Q.R. — Playa del Carmen firemen were requested outside Puerto Aventuras Friday to deal with a truck that caught fire. The pickup truck, which quickly became fully engulfed, was attended to by firemen who responded to the 7:40 a.m. report of a car fire.
The vehicle’s occupants were able to get out of the truck before flames took over. There were no injuries reported in the fire, however, the vehicle was completely burned. A mechanical issue under the hood is said to be the likely cause of the fire.
Elements of the National Guard arrived along with Federal Highway Police who saw the truck towed to a corral.
