Tulum, Q.R. — A man was left for dead inside a Tulum convenience store Thursday afternoon after being shot. The unnamed resident was inside a SIX convenience store in the Ya’ax residential neighborhood of town when he was targeted.

Witnesses to the broad daylight shooting called for help around 2:00 p.m. after watching gunmen take aim at the lone male. Paramedics arrived at the convenience store at the intersection of Gladiolas and Tulipanes streets where they found the man laying in a pool of blood.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. Those responsible fled before police arrived. Tulum authorities have not commented on the shooting. The deceased has not been named.

On Tuesday, one man was killed and two others injured in a shooting on a public street in the same neighborhood of the town of Tulum. That same day, another man was shot while answering a Tulum hotel room door.
