Riviera Maya, Q.R. — The continued decrease in covid-19 figures will see the state of Quintana Roo remain yellow. Governor Carlos Joaquin reported that the state has recorded a significant decrease in infections.
He has said that the most recent figures are the lowest since the start of the pandemic. For the week of February 14 to 20, the state will continue in a yellow epidemiological light.
“Quintanarroenses, this week we have had the lowest contagion rate in the last two years and Covid-19 cases are declining in all municipalities. We will keep the yellow from February 14 to 20 at the state traffic light. We’re on the right track, let’s not let our guard down!”
He also stated that as part of the recovery effort students will be able to return to face-to-face classes as of February 14.
