The Servicio Meteorológico Nacional (SMN) says for Thursday and Friday, frontal system No. 11 will extend as stationary over the northwest Caribbean Sea in interaction with the tropical cyclone Eta, which is now located on land between Honduras and Nicaragua.
From this, heavy rains are expected in the south and southeast of Mexico, while very heavy rains with occasional intense downpours of between 75 to 150 mm is forecast for Tabasco, Chiapas and Quintana Roo.
