Chetumal, Q.R. — Four people in Chetumal were arrested and their car seized in what police believe was another attempted kidnapping. On Sunday, police responded to the 911 request for help after the man made the emergency call that someone had tried to kidnap him.
The man told police that he was on Andrés Quintana Roo Avenue when people from a car began chasing him. Taking details of what happened, police were able to track down the offending vehicle on Francisco May Street.
Inside, they found four males and a loaded nine-millimeter firearm. Authorities have not revealed the names of those arrested. On Saturday, Chetumal police also responded to the report of an attempted kidnapping.
