Chetumal, Q.R. — An ex-police officer was found murdered and left on a dirt road on the outskirts of Chetumal. The former State Judicial Police officer, who was a security guard for a city nightclub, was discovered shot to death Tuesday.
The 28-year-old former Policía Judicial del Estado (PJE) member has been accused of a variety of criminal involvement including drug dealing and business robberies. His body was discovered Tuesday afternoon on a road that leads to the irregular settlement of Mártires Antorchistas.
Ministerial Investigative Police say they are working on gathering evidence into the shooting death of the deceased, H.C.M. including talking with his fellow coworkers at the nightclub where he worked as a security guard. They have noted that their investigation has not ruled out a revenge shooting between rival area criminal groups.
