Riviera Maya, Q.R. — Five municipalities in the state are moving forward with the covid vaccination program. The Secretary of Health, Alejandra Aguirre Crespo, says 1,130,578 vaccines have been administered in Quintana Roo since January.
She says that this week, the municipality of Othón P. Blanco will move forward with the vaccination of people between 18 and 29 years of age. In Felipe Carrillo Puerto, José María Morelos and Bacalar, the first doses of Pfizer have been administered for the same age group, whereas in Tulum, the second dose of Sinovac is being administered to people between the ages of 30 and 39.
Around the state, she detailed that both double-dose and single dose vaccines are being applied. She specified of the vaccines administered, 824,839 were first doses, 272,325 were second doses and 33,414 were single-dose Cansino vaccines.
