Chetumal, Q.R. — Five people have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the attempted kidnapping of a Chetumal man. According to the SSP of Quintana Roo, “A Red Code report was received for the abduction of a male inside a business who was taken against his will aboard a white Sentra Nissan vehicle.
Police were able to locate the vehicle and arrest the four men and one woman believed involved. Detained are Rafael “N” 39, María Adolfina “N” 46, Edwin Alejandro “N” 21, Ángel “N” 33 and Daniel “N” 39.
According to early information, the man was inside a Chetumal seafood restaurant on José María Morelos Street when he was approached by the four men and forcefully put inside the waiting vehicle outside.
