Puerto Aventuras, Q.R. — The construction for an official arch over the City Hall of Puerto Aventuras has been laid. Solidaridad Mayor Lili Campos laid the first stone Saturday. She said the remodeling of the town’s arch will improve the entire area since the project also includes planters, lighting and new sidewalks.
During her press conference, Campos added that later, they will construct access to Puerto Maya, which will have a façade equal to that of the tourist area “so that there is no inequality in access to the urban areas, all three will be the same,” she said.
She also said that legal work is being done to move the town forward with its Mayor, Gilberto Gómez, and his cabinet. Public services and comprehensive projects will be reflected with the Income and Expenditure Law of 2023.
On behalf of the City Hall, Campos announced that the intention is to make the commitment to carry out the adaptation of the Urban Development Program (PDU) of Puerto Aventuras.
Teresita Flota Alcocer, the secretary of Public Works and Urban Development, said the remodeling project will cost around 3 million peso and take approximately two months.
