Mahahual, Q.R. — A head-on crash between a car and truck left one of the drivers dead. The driver of a blue car was killed on impact after crashing head-on into a small company truck outside Mahahual.
The two vehicle accident happened about two kilometers from the town of Mahahual Saturday. Motorists stopped to help those involved in the accident while making the report to emergency services.
Paramedics confirmed the male driver of the car died at the scene.
One of the drivers is reported to have invaded the oncoming lane, causing the deadly head-on collision. It is not clear which vehicle crossed the center line.
