Chetumal, Q.R. — A loaded water truck was found by highway personnel ditched along a section of federal roadway outside Chetumal. Passing motorists made the report of the stuck truck to emergency personnel.
The company truck, which was loaded with bottles of purified water, was found abandoned by its crew. Elements of the Quintana Roo Police arrived to find not only that its crew members had fled, but that the truck was severely damaged.
Authorities from state traffic took charge of accident site, eventually having the truck removed from the ditch and placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry.
