Puerto Aventuras, Q.R. — Two subjects were detained by elements of Seguridad Pública y Tránsito Municipal de Solidaridad after police found them in possession of six street bags of cocaine.
The arrests and seizure of drugs happened on avenida Viveros in the town of Puerto Aventuras where police elements noticed a vehicle driving recklessly. The vehicle was stopped by police.
As the officer approached, he observed an open cigar box between the two front seats that contained bags of what appeared to be, cocaine. The two men were removed from the vehicle while an inspection was conducted.
A total of six street doses of cocaine were located inside the vehicle. The pair were taken into custody to face charges.
