Puerto Aventuras, Q.R. — A piece of land that has been donated to the IMSS will be used to build a medical clinic in Puerto Aventuras. On Thursday, Solidaridad Mayor Lili Campos announced the project approval by City Hall.
In her brief statement, Campos said that during a recent City Hall meeting, officials voted in favor of the project. She did not say who donated the property, only that it was contributed for Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) use.
The land, she said, is located in lot 001, block 007 on Caoba Street, between Ciricote Street and Ciprés Street in Puerto Aventuras. It will be used to build a large family medical clinic.
She said the new 10,000 square foot facility, once finished, will contribute to solving the demand in health infrastructure and provide timely medical attention to residents.
Campos said that the IMSS already has a budget for the construction of the family medical unit, which will improve the quality of life of people who will have better medical services, mainly in Puerto Aventuras.
