Chetumal, Q.R. — A Chetumal woman who was found shot to death earlier in the week has been identified as a city taxi driver. The body of the deceased woman was found Wednesday.
On Thursday, the Chetumal Public Transport Union (Suchaa) confirmed that the body found was that of Landy “N” who was a Suchaa taxi driver. The public transportation company of Chetumal confirmed her identification in a social media post.
Authorities from the Sindicato Unico de Choferes de Automóviles de Alquiler (Suchaa) said the reason for her murder is not known. On Thursday, the Quintana Roo State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) also confirmed her identity adding that the case remains an open investigation.
