Chetumal, Q.R. — A Chetumal taxi carrying passengers flipped onto its roof Tuesday. The cab was traveling in the area of Los Rápidos when the driver lost control.
Passing motorists along the federal 307 notified emergency services of the overturned cab. By the time paramedics arrived, everyone from inside was out of the vehicle. Red Cross paramedics were at the scene of the accident providing first aid to the passengers who suffered only minor bumps and bruises.
Authorities arrived to ask questions and start an investigation into the overturning of the public transport car. The driver of the Chetumal taxi and his passengers were not seriously injured. Police have not commented on why the cab overturned.
