Chetumal, Q.R. — The body of a young man found bludgeoned to death in Chetumal remains unidentified. Police were notified of the discovery made by area residents Friday.
Passersby walking Bugambilias Avenue saw the body of an adult male laying in a vacant lot. The medical examiner was called to remove the deceased from the area. He is believed to be in his mid-20s.
Preliminary information suggests he may have been bludgeoned to death with a rock, however, an autopsy will confirm the official cause of death. Nearby private security cameras on a home are being used in the investigation.
