Chetumal, Q.R. — A man wandering a green area of Chetumal Thursday stumbled upon a dead body. The area resident found the body under a dilapidated structure.
Chetumal police responding to the 911 report verified the body of an adult male at the end of Santa Elena Street. Reports say the body of the man believed in his 60s was recently deceased. He is alleged to be that of a person reported missing earlier this week from the city of Chetumal.
On Tuesday, 60-year-old Carlos “L” was reported missing by his family from Chetumal where he was last seen on Monday, October 10.
The area was cordoned off by authorities while evidence was collected and personnel from the State Attorney General’s Office removed the body.
