Chetumal police detain 3, rescue 1 after report of kidnapping

Chetumal, Q.R. — The Attorney General of the State of Quintana Roo reports the detainment of three and rescue of one after the report of a kidnapping in the state’s capital city of Chetumal.

In a press release, the Attorney General says a call for help was received via radio about the deprivation of liberty of a male person from a department store, activating police protocol.

Investigation Police, in coordination with Chetumal State Police, located the residence and rescued a person who was deprived of his freedom.

The FGE says police were also successful in capturing three subjects as well as securing six guns. Only two of the arrested have been identified, Jose S and Alejandro P.
