Chetumal home gutted after early morning fire

Chetumal, Q. R. — Firemen were at the scene of a private home for more than an hour Saturday putting out flames. People living inside the small home called emergency services for help around 5:00 a.m. after the inside of their house began to burn.

Firemen rushed to the address at the intersection of Francisco J. Mujica and Ramón Corona Streets where they found the interior of the home completely engulfed. Flames were shooting out the home’s only front window, which had burst from the heat.

While no injuries were reported in the Del Bosque residential house fire, the unit was completely gutted by flames. A cause for the fire is under investigation.
