Othón P. Blanco, Q.R. — A federal vehicle could not be saved after an engine fire ate through more than half of the truck. Chetumal firemen were called to the scene of the burning Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) truck in the community of Juan Sarabia late Thursday.
The engine fire had a head start on firemen who were able to put out the flames, but not save the vehicle. The front end of the speciality truck was completely burned while the overhead crane lift was heavily damaged.
