Chetumal, Q.R. — A Chetumal cyclist was killed Tuesday night by a car near Model University. Campus video shows vehicles passing along the distant roadway when one suddenly hit the bicycle and dragged it for several blocks before the bike finally dislodged from the car.
The driver did not stop. Motorists who witnessed the accident called for medical assistance and police. Paramedics found the male bicyclist dead in the middle lane of the roadway.
The man has not been publicly identified. He was however, reported to be 32.
