Chetumal, Q.R. — The weekend search of a Chetumal bar landed two in jail. Óscar Montes de Oca of the State Attorney General’s Office, reported on the search of the bar located in the David Gustavo Gutiérrez Ruiz neighborhood, in Chetumal.
Police from the state’s drug unit located a safe inside the premises. Inside the safe was a variety of items including bags of cocaine. The FGE reported Eduardo “A” and Marcos “B” were arrested during the procedure.
Personnel processed the bar. Once the operation was completed, the insurance seals were placed and the establishment left under the protection of the Municipal Police.
