Mahahual, Q.R. — A cargo driver heading toward Mahahual found himself laying on the roof after rolling. The incident was reported by highway motorists Wednesday afternoon as they drove past the rolled vehicle.
Highway patrol located the overturned truck along the Cafetal-Mahahual highway which was blocking both lanes. Food and beverages from the cargo bed littered the highway due to the roll.
The driver was able to climb out his side window. He was not physically injured in the single-vehicle accident. Emergency personnel and firemen, along with police, responded to the report of the rolled pickup.
Police did not say exactly how the driver managed to end up on his roof.
