Chetumal, Q.R. — The body of a man found in a Chetumal neighborhood Saturday has been identified. The man, identified as Lorenzo “M”, was a state nurse of 22 years.
His dumped body was found by residents in the Dina neighborhood early Saturday morning. Forensic testing determined his identity as being an active nurse with the State Health Secretariat (Sesa).
He was originally from the municipality of Othón P. Blanco and had worked with Sesa for more than 22 years.
Ministerial Police are continuing with their investigation into the cause and motive for his death. According to early information, the discovery of his body is believed to have been staged to look like a criminal execution. Further details surrounding the murder are not yet known.
