Body found in Chetumal identified as rival Cuban gang member

Chetumal, Q.R. — The bagged body of an adult male found Thursday night in Chetumal has been identified as a Cuban gang member. The body of Cuban national Alain “F” was found tape wrapped in plastic off Maxuxac Avenue.

Alain “F” is believed to have been a Cuban operator for the Sinaloa Cartel. His job description included the reception and handling of drug shipments in the southern zone of Quintana Roo.

Next to his body was a handwritten message from those alleged responsible for the murder. He is reported to have been killed on orders from rival gang Caborca Cartel after being accused of drug theft against their cartel.
