Chetumal, Q.R. — Authorities in Belize say they have detained one man after he was discovered with a shipment of cocaine bound for Quintana Roo. Belize police made the finding after a search of the man’s home in the Corozal District.
While their house search came up empty handed, a narcotics dog picked up the scent from the back of a parked pickup truck. An inspection of the bed of the parked Ranger revealed 13.7 kilos of cocaine bricks bound for Chetumal. The arrested man has been identified as Belize resident, Edwin N.
