Chetumal, Q.R. — Emergency 911 sent officers to the scene of what a passerby reported to be a dead body. Early Friday, Chetumal police located the body of a male victim wrapped in a black plastic bag.
The body was found shortly after 3:00 a.m. along Boulevard Bahía de Chetumal. Police and the National Guard located the bagged male along with a threat message written on cardboard.
The Forensic Medical Service (Semefo) arrived to remove the body. A public statement from Chetumal authorities has not been made.
