Authorities execute four arrest warrants for murder and dismemberment of Chetumal man

Chetumal, Q.R. — Four people have been taken in custody for the murder of a Chetumal man. The two men and two women were taken into custody in separate arrests Thursday.

The Quintana Roo State Attorney General (FGE) said the group of four are facing charges for aggravated homicide in December 20, 2025 murder of a man.

In the first arrest, Alan Francisco “N” was captured in collaboration with the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Yucatán, on the Manuel Berzunza Peripheral Highway in the city of Mérida.

The second arrest took place in the Guadalupana neighborhood of Playa del Carmen. There, police took Jesús “N” into custody. Two more people involved in the murder were arrested in the municipality of Othón P. Blanco.

Police say arrest warrants were served on Mya Yoany “N” and Gabriela “N” who are currently incarcerated in the Penitentiary Center of Chetumal “for their probable participation in crimes against health in the form of drug dealing.”

In a statement, the FGE said “the events for which these four individuals are accused occurred on December 20, 2025, when Mya Yoany “N” lured the deceased to a property rented through a digital platform.

“Upon arrival, Jesús “N” and Alan Francisco “N” allegedly murdered him. Subsequently, the body was dismembered and placed in suitcases which were then abandoned on a dirt road with the assistance of Gabriela “N”.”

After the corresponding procedures, Alan Francisco “N” was transferred to Chetumal where all four face charges of aggravated homicide.
