Cancun, Q.R. — Workers on section 4 of the Maya Train have begun using new technology that has arrived from Austria. As construction on the section that runs from Izamal to Cancun advances, workers are using a multi-shoe machine.
The Austrian technology shoe machine is being used in ballast compaction and track leveling and that, due to its versatility and precision, will guarantee the construction of a railway with high standards of security.
This particular section also includes the excavation for the Maxcanú Station, which will include an overpass for the crossing of passengers who get off at that destination, change direction or connect with vehicular transport.
