Puerto Aventuras, Q.R. — Solidaridad firefighters spent part of their New Years Eve battling a warehouse fire in Puerto Aventuras. The fire was reported shortly before 9:00 p.m. near the town’s entrance.
The warehouse was used to store construction material. There are allegations that the fire was intetional. Firemen were successful in extinguishing the burning building located off the federal 307 highway after C-5 sent emergency units.
A nighttime security guard for the warehouse made the report to emergency services after seeing someone throw “an object” that caused the fire. Solidaridad firemen extinguished flames and reported no injuries reported. The building used to store the material was reduced to ash.
