Another two plots of land expropriated for Maya Train use

Othón P. Blanco, Q.R. — Two more plots of land are being expropriated for section 6 of the Maya Train project in the state of Quintana Roo. The two plots total just over 8,100 square meters of land.

The government published the expropriation in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF) “for reasons of public utility, the area of 8,118.90 square meters in favor of the Federation for the construction of Section 6 of the Maya Train Project.”

This latest expropriation of land includes two privately owned buildings. Both plots of land are located in the municipality of Othón P. Blanco.

With the publication of this decree, the Secretary of Agrarian, Territorial and Urban Development (Sedatu) proceeds to the immediate occupation of the assets subject to this expropriation.

Part of the land will be used to construct maintenance warehouses that will be for future Maya Train use.
