Cancun, Q.R. — Authorities have arrested another person alleged involved in the deadly shooting of a Cancun man in April. On Wednesday, the State Attorney General said Jhonatan “N” had been taken into custody in relation to a murder in Plaza Península in Cancun.
Jhonatan “N” was arrested during an operation carried out in the Tierra Maya subdivision for his alleged involvement in the April 2024 parking lot murder of another man.
Four others have also been arrested in relation to the murder. On April 16, Francisco Antonio “N” was captured followed by Luis Arturo “N”, Alfredo Antonio “N” and Jesús Gilberto “N” in May.
All of those involved in the Cancun parking lot murder, including the deceased, are suspected of criminal gang relations.
