Mexico City, Mexico — President Andrés Manuel López Obrador held a meeting with Samsung executives at the National Palace on Thursday. In a briefing, Mexico’s President said the group discussed construction, energy and telecommunications projects.
Through his social networks, the president affirmed that Mexico has good relations with the South Korean company in different areas of development.
The meeting was attended by the vice president of the Samsung Group, Lee Jae Yong, the CEO and president of Samsung Engineering, Sungan Choi, the president of Samsung Electronics Latin America, Hong Sang, Cho and the General Director of Samsung Engineering Mexico, Tae Joon Park.
López Obrador did not elaborate on what future projects, if any, were agreed upon.
