Chetumal, Q.R. — A man who was reported for gasing up and not paying became part of a police chase in Chetumal. The chase began after gas station employees reported the man to authorities for putting 620 peso of gas in his vehicle then fleeing.
The incident reportedly happened Thursday night around 11:15 p.m., which lead to the chase along Insurgentes Avenue. Police were quickly able to locate the gray Honda CRV with Florida plates.
During their pursuit, the American-plated car hit five other vehicles in repeated attempts to elude police. The driver, Michael N, was eventually stopped at a road block and arrested.
