Chetumal, Q.R. — An elderly man was arrested from his home Thursday after police found cocaine. His home was searched during an operation after it was suspected of being a point for drug sales.
“Upon entering the house located on Belisario Domínguez and Heriberto Jara Streets in the Adolfo López Mateos neighborhood, among other signs, they found doses with characteristics similar to cocaine,” the State Attorney General said in a statement.
Evidence was collected from the scene and incorporated into their ongoing investigation. “A person identified as Renán Francisco “N” was arrested and placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry who, in the corresponding legal term, will determine his legal situation,” the Agency added.
The narcotics found inside the home were seized as was the home.
