Alejandro de Valle released from Mexico City prison

Mexico City, Mexico — The president of the Interjet’s Board of Directors has been released from prison. Alejandro del Valle left the South Prison in Mexico City where he was being held on charges of generic fraud.

In a public video, his son announced the release of his father saying that he is at his home in Houston Texas.

“Today is a great day for the Del Valle family. After a two and a half month process, a few hours ago, my father flew to his home in Houston. He is with the family. He is in excellent health and we will continue to do a great job for Mexico. We will continue with all the projects we have,” said Carlos Del Valle.

In September, Alejandro Del Valle was arrested by the Investigative Police of the Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City on generic tax fraud charges. He was sent to the Reclusorio Preventivo Varonil Sur prison in CDMX where he remained until his recent release.
