Cancun, Q.R. — A 22-year-old man was one of the two arrested Thursday night after a shootout with Cancun police. Quintana Roo authorities have named him as Francisco N from Tabasco.
He was jailed late Thursday on attempted murder charges after he and at least one other male participated in an exchange of gunfire with Municipal Police. A second man was taken to hospital by ambulance under police guard.
He was transferred for medical attention after being shot during the shootout with Cancun officers. His name, age or origin have not yet been released for public information.
