Riviera Maya, Q.R. — Governor Carlos Joaquín announced that as of November 8, eight of the state’s 11 municipalities will be offering vaccines. Joaquin reported that the vaccines offered will be the first for new people and second doses for those without a complete vaccine scheme.
The program will run from November 8 to 14 and allow anyone who has not yet been vaccinated, to do so. He stressed that completing the vaccination scheme allows for a faster economic recovery in the state.
He says it will allow those without the second dose to help close the vaccination scheme and keep Quintana Roo among the best-ranking states in the country in managing the pandemic and in reactivating the economy.
The participating areas include Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Othón P. Blanco, Cozumel, Lázaro Cárdenas, Isla Mujeres, Tulum and Bacalar.
In Lázaro Cárdenas, he says the second Pfizer doses will be applied to people 18 years of age and older from November 8 to November 11.
