Cancun, Q.R. — A police chase in Cancun has ended with the arrest of a man for homicide after authorities received an emergency 911 call.
The incident occurred in SM 247 Tuesday when police were sent to the scene of a crime after the report of one injured person and another armed with a gun. The report also said the armed male had fled the scene on a black Italika motorcycle with green racing stripes.
A search for the bike and driver were implemented with police quickly locating the driver, who attempted to flee at the sight of police. The chase ended with the arrest of a young male.
Taken into custody by Quintana Roo Police was 29-year-old José Raymundo N from the state of Yucatan for the crime of homicide.
