Cancun, Q.R. — Authorities have removed the body of a drowned man from a Cancun beach. His body was seen floating off shore by beachgoers at Kilometer 18 of the Cancun Hotel Zone Tuesday.
Lifeguards rushed out to return the man to shore, however, he was already without vital signs. Medical personnel responding to the Tuesday afternoon report only arrived to verify the death.
The area was cordoned off by agents of the National Guard and the Quintana Roo police. The deceased has been identified as 24-year-old Leonardo N from Tabasco.
