Cancun, Q.R. — A woman who was shot Saturday morning in a Cancun residential subdivision has died. The woman died Saturday afternoon in Cancun hospital after being shot early Saturday morning.
The woman, who has been identified as transgender Samantha “N”, was shot several times. Bullets pierced the upper portion of her body as she walked along Leona Vicario Avenue in Villas Otoch Paraiso.
The shooting happened around 2:00 a.m. Saturday by a lone subject on a motorcycle. Police have not provided a motive for the deadly attack. An arrest has not been made.
