Cancun, Q.R. — Witnesses reported a man on a motorcycle as responsible for the shooting death of a Cancun woman. The unidentified woman was shot multiple times shortly after 9:30 p.m. outside a convenience store on Rancho Viejo Avenue in SM 242.
The woman was apparently walking when the driver of the motorcycle pulled up next to her and opened fire. She was left lying on the asphalt near the sidewalk. Quintana Roo Police were first on the scene. Ministerial Police arrived later to collect evidence and begin a homicide investigation.
There have been reports of an arrest, however, Cancun authorities have not confirmed the arrest of any suspects.
