Cancun, Q.R. — A woman was found dead in the center of a residential area of Cancun Wednesday. Police found the woman shot to death and left laying in a dirt area in SM 247 Wednesday afternoon.
According to witness statements, the woman was standing outside a mechanic shop when a motorcycle suddenly appeared. Someone from the bike shot the woman in the head and kept going.
Paramedics were called to the scene. They pronounced her dead. The shooting happened in broad daylight in the community of Villas Otoch. The now-deceased is reported to have been 25 years of age.
