Cancun, Q.R. — A woman was rushed to hospital Monday after being stabbed in the back. The woman was attacked by an unknown subject Monday afternoon while she was at a tianguis.
Witnesses reported seeing the woman talking with others when she suddenly collapsed. A man was then seen fleeing the area. An ambulance was called to attend to the woman who was found to have a stab wound in her back, which was made by a sharp object.
Police also arrived, but the attacker was able to flee the scene by running into the thick crowd of tianguis shoppers.
